Mademoiselle Privé in D Museum

I went to the exhibition Mademoiselle Privé that starts today in Seoul. It’s an interactive exhibition which offers a glimpse at Mademoiselle Chanel’s life and the important stages in her career such as the opening of her first shop in Deauville, her sportswear inspirations, the creation of the famous N°5 perfume or the magnificient jewelry collection of 1932, the one Karl Lagerfeld reinterpreted recently. This beautiful collection is shown on Haute Couture dresses worn by the egeries of the House, shot by Karl Lagerfeld and hung on the walls : Kristen Stewart, Julian Moore, Isabelle Huppert, Alice Dellal, Lily Rose-Depp, or Géraldine Chaplin who became the official incarnation of Gabrielle Chanel. Her voice also gives rhythm to this precious and very intimate exhibition.

Mademoiselle Privé
